Every RHCP album is amazing in one way or another but Blood Sugar Sex Magik is definitely, without a doubt, their best. First of all, it's one of those rare albums that you can listen to from start to finish without skipping a single song and after the last song's played, all you want to do is listen to it again. They didn't change their style from the previous albums, they more or less perfected it; yet there are some really beautiful slow songs on the album as well, "I Could have Lied", "Under the Bridge." This album proves the fact that John is one of rock music's best guitar players and also proves how incredibly talented Flea is(the bass line in "Give it away" makes me want to dance every damn time I hear it). I think Flea and Les Claypool are the greatest bass players of all time, but that's besides the point. Anthony is a charismatic and engaging singer, he has a unique style and holds your attention, whether he's singing or rhyming. If you're just starting out with the Chili Peppers, this album is not only the best place to start, it will also turn you into a die-hard fan.
